Barbara Maray Puerto Febles was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba. In 2010, she graduated as an Accounting Technician and earned her high school diploma with a focus in Humanities, which allowed her to begin her professional career at Banco de Ahorro, where she worked for five years.
In 2016, Barbara made one of the most important decisions of her life: immigrating to the United States in search of a better future for herself and her daughter, who was only two years old at the time. Her first destination was Georgia, where she lived for two and a half years and welcomed her second daughter.
In 2019, she moved to Tampa, Florida, a place she immediately felt she could call home. As an immigrant, Barbara faced the challenges of starting over in a new country, always driven by determination, perseverance, and her love for her daughters.
In 2022, she achieved one of her greatest dreams by purchasing her first home. A year later, in 2023, she became a United States citizen, marking an important milestone in her personal journey. In April 2024, she passed the exam that qualified her as a Realtor, beginning a new professional chapter filled with goals and purpose.
Throughout her journey, Barbara has worked tirelessly to build a better future. She has cleaned offices, homes, clinics, and banks, and has also worked through delivery applications—a job she continues to perform with pride. To Barbara, every step represents hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to moving forward.
Outside of her professional life, Barbara enjoys the ocean, driving, and cooking whenever she has the time. She is passionate about politics, considers herself 100% anti-communist, and is a strong advocate for freedom for all nations. She always dreamed of becoming an attorney, which is why she enjoys learning about law and justice through documentaries and educational content.
Barbara describes herself as a Cuban woman, mother, hardworking professional, American citizen, and lover of freedom who has never stopped fighting for a better future. Today, as a Realtor, her purpose is to help others and their families build a better future of their own.
